He practiced general dentistry in Northern California for seven years, during which he also served as an adjunct faculty member in Endodontics and was actively involved in his alma mater’s Alumni Association. Dr. Elkhatieb has held multiple leadership roles within the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and local dental societies.

Dr. Amro Elkhatieb B.D.S, D.D.S, M.S.D:
Dr. Elkhatieb was born in Germany and raised across Egypt, the United States and Saudi Arabia. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree and completed his initial endodontic residency in Egypt before relocating to San Francisco, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Driven by his passion for Endodontics and interest in microsurgery, Dr. Elkhatieb returned to the Dugoni School to complete his postgraduate Endodontics residency, where he served as Chief Resident. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending quality time with his family.
